Why It’s Interesting: After Roger Federer’s send-off at Laver Cup and Andy Murray’s goodbye at Wimbledon, the ITF-led Davis Cup had lofty standards to meet. Carlos Moya, David Ferrer and Uncle Toni were among a chorus of people who weren’t satisfied.
