    Why It’s Important: Take Iga Swiatek’s case as an example. She had her provisional suspension reversed by proving that her melatonin was tainted with a banned substance. To produce this evidence, she had to send samples to an independent lab for expedited testing. Swiatek said this cost her about $15,000.
